AboutUs

A Quick Hello from the man himself
Hello my name is Adil Latif and on this site I have blogged my experience of learning to snowboard without the use of my eyes as they are a bit rubbish and don’t work very well!

After mastering the basics of snowboarding, I rewarded myself by going up in a helicopter in 2007 for charity and being left on the top of a glacier on Mont Blanc with a guide to provide me directions to get me safely down.

You can read all about it on the blog section:
Snowboarding-Mont Blanc glacier Descent

and watch the video at http://www.feeltheedge.com/gallery_23.html

We managed to raise over £14,000 and you can view the donations which were made and comments people left at:

More recently I’ve blogged about my time in Vermont, where I was sponsored to train for a snowboarding competition.
You can read all about it on the blog section:
Snowboarding- Training to compete

A Brief Profile of Adil Latif (written by him in the 3rd person to make it sound more important)

Born with a degenerative eye condition (which basically means as he gets older he is losing it) he has enjoyed taking part in activities which challenge him and which may be seen by some as ‘unrealistic' for someone who is nearing blindhood.

by the age of 16 he had cycled through Cuba in a tandem, ran the Glasgow half marathon and abseiled down the tallest building in Glasgow Scotland.

Within the professional sphere, he graduated from the Strathclyde Business School in 2003 and help to launch and run an award-winning business for a year before moving onto the globally recognized Management consulting firm Accenture, where he trained as a management consultant travelling the UK advising clients on areas from training and development to business process redesign.

Aside from the ‘hi flying’ world of management consulting consisting of living out of a suitcase, 50 hour weeks, eating out every night and a large drycleaners bill, Adil loves to attend gatherings where he can provide some motivation and drive to participants by sharing some of his life experiences.  He has attended everything from global management conferences for high street firms held on tropical islands to visiting the children at his local school.
