The journey to the land of the Green Mountains

My British Airways flight was cancelled so I had to kick around the airport for 3 hours before I got the next flight out. Due to bad weather the flight was an extra 2 hours in the air and 9 hours later landed in New York. Due to the delay Travis was circumambulating the airport in his pickup truck and by the time I got out he had done 17 laps of the place. I think he was pleased to see me.

It was about a 3 hour drive from New York to Vermont and we pulled up outside the Red Fox Inn, the place where I will be living for the next 4 months.  I was welcomed by the lovely couple who own the place, Cindy and Tom and their daughter Kate who is also Travis’ girlfriend.
