It was hard at times believing in myself. Not having many blind role models made it very difficult for me as I didn’t know what was possible for a blind snowboarder. After spending 2 months in the USA training fulltime and competing (and winning my event!) in the Canadian Adaptive Snowboard Program National Championships I felt it was time to return home.
